Objectives

Through this lesson students can develop an understanding of information found in Luther's Small Catechism and how to us it as a reference book. It is Scripture alone that we use as our source for reliegious truth. Creeds are handy summaries of what Scripture teaches.

Given Luther's Small Catechism with Explanation Students will know the outline of the book by finding information in it.

Given Luther's Small Catechism with Explanation Students will know which part of this book was written by Martin Luther and which part is the Small Catechism proper.

Given Class Discussion, students will know what a creed is and the authority that a creed carries.
