Sunday Morning Studies

The following Bible studies meet on Sunday mornings from 9:15-10:15 at Christ Lutheran. Every class is open and does not require registration.

The Lutheran Confessions

-        Location: Schemm Family Life Center (Gym)

-        Leader: Pastor Ross

In preparation of the upcoming 500 year anniversary of the Reformation we are taking an in-depth look at the Lutheran Confessions. This study will be broken down into four major sections. No prior knowledge is needed to attend or learn in this class.

From the Concordia Publishing House website: "Each session highlights the Law and Gospel and helps participants grow in their knowledge and understanding of the teachings of the Lutheran Church and its relevance to everyday life...The Lutheran Confession series presents a comprehensive introduction to major Lutheran writings. For ease of use and study, each book in this series includes excerpts from the relevant confessional document. These is no need for students--or instructors--to purchase a complete set of catechisms, or copies of the Augsburg Confessions or Book of Concord in order to enjoy and benefit from these studies."

The Lutheran Confessions

The Daily Walk

-        Location: Basement Fellowship Area

-        Leaders: Pauline Calwell & Mary Davis

This study digs deep into sections of scripture each week. The goal of the class is to go through the entire Bible. The class is currently in the New Testament Epistles.

Monday Evening Bible Study (Women’s Bible Study)

-        When: 1st and 3rd Mondays

-        Time: 7:00 pm

Saturday Morning Bible Study (Women’s Bible Study)

-        What: Stepping Out to a Life on the Edge

-        Where: meets at a different home each month

-        When: one Saturday a month

-        Time: 9:30 am

Saturday Morning Bible Study (Men’s Bible Study)

-        What: Life of Jesus Series, 'Passion'

-        Where: Basement at Christ (come in the South entrance)

-        When: Every Saturday

-        Time: 10:00 am
