At Christ, we will be joining the Kansas District LCMS for “Faith at Work.”

“Faith at Work” is an annual District-wide service event where groups of all ages and skill sets find needs within their local communities to serve throughout the month of April. Each spring, we would like to encourage every person, young and old, to serve friends and neighbors in their communities in the name of Jesus. Our event will have two chances to participate:

SUNDAY, APRIL 14TH — MUFFINS FOR MISSIONS
We will hold our annual “Muffins for Missions” bake sale.
All donations will pay for supplies for our project the following week.

SUNDAY, APRIL 21ST — BLESSING BAGS & FLEECE TIE BLANKETS
Join us in the gym at 11:45 AM for a light lunch. Help us assemble blessing bags and tie blankets for those in need in our community.

All participants will receive a free “Faith at Work” t-shirt. Sign up (across from the kitchen) to donate baked goods, assemble bags/blankets, or both — be sure to note your shirt size on the sign up sheet in the coffee lobby to reserve yours! (T-shirts were pre-ordered. We will do our best to get your requested size!)
