Education

Sunday School is for all ages even us Adults!

9:15-10:15 Sundays

You are welcome to attend any of our Sunday School classes on Sunday mornings.

A leading reason why adults do not attend Christian education classes is that they are unfamiliar with using the Bible. Having the same classroom Bible enables the leader to direct learners to a page number instead of by book, chapter, and verse.

Pastor leads an adult class in the gym, a women’s group meets upstairs, and two different adult groups meet in the basement.

Feed His Lambs on Wednesdays

Feed His Lambs is on Wednesdays @ 6:30 pm to provide a Christian education experience for children (Preschool - 2nd Grade) to learn about and grow in their God-given faith. Here, we nurture faith in Christ by sharing, learning, and having fun with each other.

Women's Small Group Bible Studies

Two active small home group Bible studies meet twice a month. The Monday night group meets on the 2nd and 4th Monday’s of the month. A different group meets on Saturday mornings. These “Mary Magdalenes” gather around the Word of God to gain insights on how to reflect the love our Lord in our lives. For information on how to join one of these groups, contact the church office (266,6263).

Confirmation is a lifelong Christian educational and relational experience, within the congregation, begun when an individual comes to faith in Christ Jesus. Formal class room instruction are on Sunday nights.

Confirmation is relational in that there are two dimensions of our relationship to the Cross. The vertical dimension is our relationship with God. It is God coming down and meeting us. We participate in this relationship through the study of God’s Word, prayer, and worship. We also need to participate in horizontal relationships. The horizontal dimension of the Cross is our relationship we have with each other (ergo, the Church). We were given the Church so that we may be built up and to build others up. Sharing and studying God’s Word must also take place in our horizontal relationships within the church.
