Worship is celebrating God’s presence and honoring him with our lifestyles. It is more than sitting in the pew on Sunday Mornings. Worship is a component of the ministry of the Word which is common to all Christians, and it is ours not only by right but by command. Through Baptism we became members of the priesthood of all believers. This general priesthood and the public ministry are not competitors but are called together for carrying His Word to the world. Together we have a stake in the mission of the Church. Jesus served all people by giving His life as a ransom for their sin. His death earned eternal life for all sinners who possess saving faith. Because of Christ, we have a role (as individuals and as a community) in the mission of the Church beyond pray, pay, and obey.

The Choir: The choir provides an atmosphere that allows its members to grow both spiritually and musically by using all of our God given talents to support, witness, enjoy and learn from each other. We work together to glorify and praise God using a variety of music with different vocal parts, instruments, a cappella or with an accompanist, and with a conductor, to enhance the worship service. We meet every Wednesday from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM, September through May. We usually sing a couple of times a month plus special occasions and at some of the services in Lent (the time leading up to Easter). Some choir members provide special music at different times to fill in when needed. Each choir member contributes with his or her own unique talents. The only requirements to belong to the choir is that you rejoice that Jesus is Lord, enjoy singing, and can carry a tune.
Worship Services: Sundays 8:00 & 10:30 with Sunday School for all ages at 9:30. Our "Contemporary Services" are on the 3rd Sundays of the month at 10:30 a.m. Holy Communion is celebrated on the 2nd & 4th Sundays of the month: Participation in Communion assumes a common unity of faith and doctrine. We therefore ask that all guests and visitors who are not in fellowship with the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS) please speak with the Pastor prior to the worship service before presenting themselves at the Altar for Communion. • Jesus Christ is the only Lord and Savior from all sin, Satan and death. • The Risen Christ is really present in the Sacrament (Holy Communion) and that with the bread and wine is His true Body and Blood. • With the help of God, my response is to resolve to dedicate my life to the service of Him in His Body, the Church, by regular group worship, group Bible study, sacrificial giving, thankful living, and a faithful witness.
