Altar Guild

 

The men and women of Altar Guild prepare for Holy Communion, and care for the altar, paraments, candles, flowers, and banners in the sanctuary.

Church Council

The officers that serve on
our church council are elected at the
annual congregational voters’ meeting
in December. If you are interested
in a position on one of our boards,
we encourage you to reach out
to the current members
(posted in our coffee lobby)
to see what the office entails.

LWML

 

The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML)
is open to any communicant member of
The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS).
Our chapter offers multiple days,
times, and events — we would
love for you to be involved!

Music


Whether you sing or play an instrument (or both),
we would love to have you share
your musical talents with us at Christ!

  • If you play the piano or organ, we always have opportunities to play for Sunday worship services
    (as well as midweek worship services during Advent and Lent).

  • Vocalists of all abilities are encouraged to join the choir! We meet on Wednesday evenings after Midweek.
    Contact the church office if you are interested.

  • Instrumental solos and contemporary music are often utilized during the offering and/or during communion during worship. They also can be featured during our pre-service and post-service music.

We always have a list of prayer requests
from members of our congregation.

Reader

 

Is one of your gifts speaking in front of groups
of people? You could read the Old Testament
and Epistle lessons during worship.

You can choose between early and late services —
you don’t have to read at both (unless you really want to).
Sign up in the coffee lobby.

Teacher

There are numerous ways you can serve as a teacher or group leader.

  • Children’s Midweek Class Teacher

  • Children’s Sunday School Teacher

  • Vacation Bible School
    Group/Activity Leader

  • Youth Group Leader

  • Youth Sunday School Teacher

Trustee

 

We typically have several people officially serving
on the church council as trustees,
but they always welcome additional help!

Whether you’re a handy man (or lady) who can help with maintenance tasks, a landscaper who can handle a hedge trimmer or leaf blower, or a gardener who can lend a green thumb to our flower beds, we will happily accept your assistance!

Usher

 

Ushers assist during worship services during
the offering as well as during communion.

Training is quick and easy —
men and women are both welcome to serve!
